Attending: Ste, Jens (chair+mins), RobC, DavidC, Teng, Brian, Sam, Winnie, Dan, Matt 0. OBP NOI (No Operational Issues). NBE (No Blogposts Either) 1. Storage permissions. Tickets like GGUS #141606 [1] (that Matt mentioned in dteam). DavidC reports storage leaks in DPMs found during SSC but expect those to be fixed in DOME. Also related to permissions - DOMA? dCache and StoRM were OK. As regards DPM, Sam had done work on Argus integration, using the DPM public API, and had also been in touch with the developers. Raul also had relevant bans active, but had done them manually. DPM-Argus seems popular again; Sam had tried previously to convince people it was a good idea, with little success. T1 has a central banning service that includes CEPH. We can repeat the exercise all over again when we get to token-based authorisations; like GSI proxies, maybe they just have to expire, or we temporarily ban the whole VO? Which other things are there? - xroot proxy cache - EOS - standalone xroot - Bristol... 2. Ticketing remaining DPM sites to upgrade to DOME seems uncontroversial? Tickets will go out week starting 09 Sep. Sites have been stable for a long time, and withdrawing the SRM service is not considered a security issue. End of September is the official-ish end of support for non-DOME DPM, although it is likely to not be at the stroke of midnight. Any other (storage and data management) thoughts from GridPP43 (not covered in dteam)? In particular, is anyone else interested in deploying CEPH? Interesting that 2x sites doing xroot proxy cache (for ATLAS), CAM, BHAM; CEPH work brings it closer to T2 deployment, although no one volunteered to be the next to install CEPH. SRM less experiences also getting less heroic... 3.
