IRIS - mostly updates on VOs with not much exciting stuff except for the power cut
Sunday morning caused by demolition of a cooling tower at Didcot's power station.
Should not have brought the cloud down, and apparently didn't (fully?) bring it down,
but users lost connectivity to the cloud, at least.

Going SRMless - do we need alternate tests?  Matt has the list of recommended actions.
At least once the SRM test is disabled in GOCDB (ie SRM is marked N/A), the WebDAV
test should more or less be able to test the SE endpoint.

DOMA - hopefully the presentation would distinguish between user certificates and
server certificates - HTTPS does need server certificates, whereas users could make
use of tokens and could in some scenarios not need personal certificates.  Note,
however, the need for traceability, that users still need to be authenticated
individually to the service, or at least to something within the infrastructure.
Tokens are for authorisation and not authentication.

CEPH - partly thanks to the contributions of the RAL CEPH team, CEPH is now a more
attractive options for a "large competent" T2, and further work could lower the barrier
further.  Using CEPHFS and S3 endpoints attractive options but need to support large
files as we have seen before.  Not yet clear if Glasgow will deploy Dynafed.

Pete asks about the LSST problem which was apparently caused by someone in the US
changing a VOMS certificate which then caused the VO's authorisations to be untrusted
and work stops. - not the first time this has happened and won't be the last - Ste
remarks it's a "systemic fault" as these things should get communicated in the nature
of things, and having techies in GridPP work with the VO and vice versa does help,
but we realise it is hard for smaller VOs to dedicate people to go to meetings
(like the Tier1/experiements, or the now fortnightly IRIS operations meetings).
