Score so far is Marcus: 2, everyone else: 0 Any user community LART requests in here, please. sno+ need the readjustment, should have consistent use of space tokens across the UK, or planetary (thanks, Winnie!)? Probably the Alberta space token is a not-well-considered default and we should ensure that consistent space tokens are used in the UK. Looking at lcg-infosites, Brian points out that Lancs, IC, Sussex, Liverpool, Sheffield, QM, Oxford, and Tier 1 are advertising SEs for snoplus. Looking a bit closer at the BDII, though, reveals that three space tokens are published, all by Alberta: SNOPRODDISK, SNODATADISK, and SNOSCRATCHDISK. Are we seeing LSST activity now? Marcus reports some testing, but otherwise depends on important people getting together for a meeting... which hasn't happened yet. For DiRAC, lots and lots of data has not come in from Cambridge, so maybe worth a prod. 1. Updates on other tasks (hopefully ongoing): * SL5...? Pretty much done. Yay! * NagDocs! You should now be nagged about your pending keydocs! Yay! * Accounting and publishing accounting information, and for ATLAS in particular - would still be interesting to find out what's actually expected amongst all the mixed messages, but for now aiming for the lower hanging fruits... - Brian points out there is this "vapor" thing, see chat log * Ipv6 storage - aha, deadline for T2s is April *2018* not 17, so not so urgent. Matt reports Lancaster networking folks are busy debugging their IPv6 environment but it is not ready for dual-stacking the production infrastructure. - ALICE may require earlier IpV6 at Bham, maybe others, too, perhaps in particular for larger T2s. 95% of ALICE jobs connect to remote data. * DPM as a cache (Durham?) - morphed into a xroot redirector for ScotGrid. So not like a single xroot instance covering all the sites, just the redirector, but should be not wholly incompatible with those experiments that want fewer endpoints. 2. Interesting things in CS3?? https://indico.cern.ch/event/565381/timetable/#all.detailed Based on a not completely deterministic reading through the titles and some of the presentations, some of the interestnig things include - http2 - dCache's cloud - OpenStack swift API? - Seafile open source thingamabob? - IBM's scalamabob? - Lots of nextcloud stuff 3. AOB NOB Daniel Peter Traynor: (15/02/2017 10:00:18) hi Paige Winslowe Lacesso: (10:07 AM) Planetary agreement! A first?!?! Daniel Peter Traynor: (10:11 AM) QM Matt Doidge: (10:18 AM) Just for info on our previous topic, snoplus have snuck in a total of 1.14T of data into Lancaster. Not much in the grand scheme of things, but getting non-trivial. John Bland: (10:20 AM) matt: I think it's similar here, we're just more stingy with non-tokened storage Govind: (10:20 AM) findally done with cc7 headnode yesterday..
