Apologies: none
Could still do more blog posts, e.g. workshop (Sam), "UKT0" (Jens)
RFIO will be deprecated for DPM - maybe within ~1yr, so need to migrate away. Use DAV instead.
Sam reporting. There were site reports from IT, FR, UK, AU. Common topics included slow drains and deletions, leading to a general discussion on the best approach. Also the ATLAS data consistency check.
Everybody else happy with puppet. YAIM is not being updated any more and cannot be used for 1.8.9/10. Instructions for people's own config (ie manual) available. Ansible was mentioned. There is no additional effort but DPM will support.
Instead of RFIO there will be a REST interface.
ITDSS at CERN IT manages EOS, CASTOR - if they also support DPM they will have three different storage "solutions"
HTTP (anonymous, non-SRM) support, but not enabled by default. Accounting does not know about SRM
GridFTP redirection in 1.8.10 but only with a client with delayed PASV, e.g. GFAL2; will not work with uberftp or g-u-c. Fallback to extra internal copy.
dpm-db tool: new version promised.
ELK log parsing, needs packaging [also used by CASTOR team at RAL.]
The LFC was used by Belle2; no patches for 3 years (!?).
Possible to move head node: French sites did this.
Testing. Edinburgh problem - wrong hostname. Otherwise testing uploading the catalogue - how is the file copied in? John B wrote his own script.

Someone's mic is picking up female speaking, SAm is that you?
Jens Jensen: (10:06 AM)
Yes, it's Sam's
Paige Winslowe Lacesso: (10:07 AM)
Sam, can hardly make out what you're saying, background female voice is overriding yours
Jens Jensen: (10:09 AM)
RFIO is the oldest part of DPM :-/
Just like SRM and its TURLs :-)
Tom Whyntie: (10:25 AM)
The Wiki pages, right ;-)

Sam, I put the ticket in "waiting to reply" status and incolved atlas ddm support. If They didn't check it by the end of today I'll send them a reminder by email.
Ewan Mac Mahon: (10:35 AM)
it's tricky - mostly I've left the storage alone this year.
Matt Doidge: (10:35 AM)
That could be a highlight

The interesting next question will be whether to upgrade all the YAIM/SL5 nodes to puppet/SL6, puppet/SL7 or something else.
But clearly it's about time to move them to something.
Samuel Cadellin Skipsey: (10:36 AM)
puppet/SL7, if you can wait for 1.8.11
Ewan Mac Mahon: (10:36 AM)
When's that likely to be?
Matt Doidge: (10:36 AM)
I'm still planning to upgrade all my Sl5 nodes to a skip.
Samuel Cadellin Skipsey: (10:36 AM)
(which will actually be 1.9.0)
Paige Winslowe Lacesso: (10:36 AM)
THANKS JENS!
Tom Whyntie: (10:36 AM)
Bye! Merry Chrimbo all!

In Janurary, probably, Ewan
