Minutes of the GridPP storage EVO meeting, 29 June 2011

As we are nearing the end of the quarter, we start with a highlight of
the quarter, going round table, but focusing on meetings with people
outside the group, eg users, WLCG, EMI, etc.
- Brian: Sonar+ATLAS, T2K incl space token
- Stephen: more storage available
- Ewan: ATLAS disk space, network - do we now have enough capacity,
  "boringly useful"
- Duncan: lack of disk space usage, but more to be used soon. Sonar.
- Chris: new storage; StoRM 1.6 with checksums.
- Jens: with Brian, new FTS accounting under way, investigating
  failures.

Checksum failure at QMUL: worth following up with CMS and see if they
have another replica of the file, to see how the failing file, er,
failed.  However, given that it's MC, there may not be another copy.

As for coming events, we have:
WLCG workshop - how are UK T2s represented in T2 presentation?
Note sessions on EMI, storage.

hepsysman (tomorrow) - counts as a meeting!

OGF - coming up - looking and interoperation between grids and clouds
(probably).
